Assumption Autonomous College

Assumption College, an Autonomous Women’s college, named so to commemorate the proclamation of the Dogma of the Assumption of BL. Virgin Mary, is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and is a Christian minority institution managed by the Archdiocese of Changanassery and recognized by UGC under section 2(f) and 12B.The Excellence of Assumption College was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) through the grant of Autonomy , and by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) by re-accrediting the college at the ‘A’ Level in the third cycle. Moreover, this is an ISO 9001-2015 certified college.
